Normal day:
Through out a normal as it could be seen on the graphs and tables i gain 28% of fat from the food i eat and 25% of protein. This shows that through out a normal day i do not gain the right amount of protein that is needed. A human body usually looks for a high percentage of protein, depending on the gender, age and the situation the person is in. I, who is really active, does sports both in and out of school will need to gain a bet more protein to stay fit and healthy, for me to be able to continue my daily activities. A lot of people ask or the function of proteins. Well, proteins have more than one function in the human body, such as: Fighting illness and disease, Building and repairing body tissues, Producing enzymes, Carrying nutrients throughout the body, Hormone production, Creating new cells, Maintaining fluid balance, Transporting oxygen throughout the body and Source of energy. Therefore, the more protein the body has the healthier the body. Some ways to gain proteins are as follow: A cup of cooked lentils, vegetables, fruits, milk, fish(salmon) and the main source would be the sun.
Eating foods that contain large percentage of fat and carbs cause a lot of problems. sickness, laziness, sick towards food, gaining MORE weight and being unfit. etc Looking at my graph you can see that im taking in 28% of fat which is only 3% higher than the proteins im taking in, however, it does not matter because; fats are something I, as a active(athletic) person should avoid. Ways for me to stop gaining fats during normal days is to eat more vegetables and fruits than eating cookies and etc.
Now looking at the nutrition table i can tell what im missing and have less of and make sure to gain them. for eg: the %RDA of vitamin A is 74% and it has been said and defined as "the average daily dietary intake level that is sufficient to meet the nutrient requirements of nearly all (approximately 98 percent) healthy individuals". Therefore i have to work on vitamin A, calcium, zinc, vitamin E which is really low.
Finally, looking at the Cal. Balance graph i can see that from the total percentage calories of food i ate, i a have gained 1552 calories and burned 2065 calories which is fairly good.
Weekend:
On the other hand looking at the weekend graph i can tell that i have not gaining a lot of proteins because i have been focusing more on burgers, fries, ice cream etc which all contain fat. That again links back to if a body does'nt gain a level of protein the body needs then the body is in trouble. The graph shows that i have been gaining on 15% of protein and 44% of fat!!! Which is not a good sign. A person who does sports has to think about the stuff he eats or else he could get ovr weight and get sick and that is exactly wat my graph is showing, therefore i have to try to not eat a lot of foods that contain fat and carbs. Again, i can eat foods like: fish, milk to gain more protein.
looking at the nutrition table i can see not enough vitamins are entering my body. im missing a lot of vitamin A,D and even E, which shows that i havent been eating the right food. And finally looking at the Cal. Balance graph i can see that the amount of calories burned and gained are fairly equal but calories gain are still less.
Last statement:
looking at bot; normal and weekend day and the graphs and informations i can tell that i have to work on my diet and slow down on the foods i eat, especially the ones with a lot of fat and carbs. more activities could help me get back in shape, and eating more proteind and vitamins could help my vitamin A,D and E.

Hi Amir,
ReplyDeleteyou have certainly given some thought the nutrients needs you have. You done a very thorough analysis of your diet and have identified areas that you can improve. My only criticism is that you are missing two graphs in your analysis. There are to four for each day. 18/20
